Red Flags Don't Always Lead to the Circus

Learn to recognize red flags for the warning signs they are. If you think something doesn't feel right, listen to that.

I am not saying you should just run away, but you should pump the brakes, figure out why you are sensing danger, and if you should try to address that, or get out of the situation.

It happened to me. I clearly remember waking up one morning realizing that the person I was engaged to was not at all who I thought she was. I broke off the engagement and left unscathed, but it was all because I repressed a red flag I had clearly seen and voiced to my family, but they said it was no big deal. I got out, my family was supportive, but not everyone is that lucky

I repressed one thing and it almost cost me years. So, be patient. Slow down. Take the time you need and don't let yourself or others talk you out of it.
